This is a space that I can expand on the riffs and inspirations that come up while teaching, while practicing, while living and share them in a way that is a bit more cohesive and coherent. Or if nothing else, written down and not just swimming in my head or floating past someone obliquely as they move from one pose to another in a class. I’m a word person, a synthesizer, and a person in love with the landscape of stories we all walk through–this is a place to share that love and awe with you.
And just as importantly and interestingly, this is a space for you to share what resonates with you, what stories of your own pour forth from reading mine, and, as Mary Oliver says in one of my favorite poems, Wild Geese, a space for “announcing your place in the family of things.”
