When we allow ourselves
to be showered in silence
like ancient trees
standing in a winter forest,
the breeze of our soul gently rising and falling,
what hangs heavy on us peels off like thunder
and adds to the foundation that holds us,
rooted in our knowing.
We stand lighter,
our dusted vitality exposed.
